Heli Hartikainen

Heli Hartikainen is a Finnish saxophonist, clarinetist, composer, improviser and sound artist whose practice derives from a pursuit of enduring textures, functions, and forms. As a saxophonist, Hartikainen is a passionate instrumentalist who constantly pushes the boundaries of their instrument (and themself) ever further. Experimentation is at the core of Hartikainen’s creative practice, in which abstraction and existential inquisitiveness playfully intertwine with an insatiable love of sound – their work stands as a testament to the power of artistic experimentation.

Kajsa Antonsson

Kajsa Antonsson is a composer and cultural producer based in Malmö, Sweden. Her compositional work focusses on exploring how we perceive and think about sound, with particular focus on how these are co-informed by the infrastructures and institutions that permeate us. In her different roles she has worked both in Swedish and international contexts, such as Malmö Konsthall, Inter Arts Center, Poste Restante, Konstmusiksystrar, Levande Musik, Sound of Stockholm, UNM, Ultima Festival and Nordic Music Days.

Abican (Can Etterlin)

Abican - this is Can Etterlin - artist, performer and composer partly based in Zug (CH) and Tallinn (EST). Abican cleverly dances along stylistic habits and artistic boundaries, merges supposedly conflictive things into something of his own and, in doing so, creates something experimentally new. Whether on the keys or the drums, with objects or video, in improvisation or composition, in installations or performances – Abican only knows one way: forward. Drifting, forward, always forward, in the mind and in the body.

Saga Fagerström

Saga Fagerström (f.1996) is a composer and flutist. She makes electronic music, sound installations and performances as well as instrumental music. Her practice involves integrating sculptures into her music as kinetic scenography and musical instruments. She creates musical interpretations of things, phenomena and forces that can be seen, touched, affected or experienced by all human beings. Through association and translation of perceptions and sensations from one sensory modality into another she creates a musical piece. Blood, gravity, thunder or silk forms the composition in a process of finding ways to represent the essence of things within a structuralist metaphysical view of the world. Her work has been presented at festivals such as the UNM-festival 2020 in Tampere, Norrköpingsljud 2022 and 2024 and performed by Norrbotten NEO, Gotlandsmusiken, Östgötamusiken among others. She also runs the record label Echo & Altar together with Adele Kosman, Anton Berglund and Arvid Kraft."
